So why was a man who was pointing a rifle at a man who was not a threat not put down as he is in him self a deadly threat?

I'm glad I haven't encountered this yet. I'm the kind of person that will test the guy. In the state of Indiana you can NOT protect property only life.

And anyone that mentions guns kill people I am coming to take your spoons away. Spoons cause obesity.

Was at Westfield Yamaha yesterday and they had one marked down to $5,999 which I thought wasn't too bad either. While I was there I just "had" to pick up one of these for my 18 mo old for Christmas http://www.stridersports.com/yamaha/. I blame it on the forum for letting me know these things exist. :) Should be interesting to see how he takes to it.

With the nice weather and all I've decided to take tomorrow off to explore some roads out in Turkey Run & covered bridge country, if anyone wants to meet up, shoot me a message before 9am.

Bob

I'm glad most everyone has been able to enjoy the awesome weather this past weekend! Back in Indiana now for a bit :) had my follow-up appointment for my bone graft... doc pulled the staples and said everything looks awesome! Just 25 this time around :-) ill go in for xrays just after Christmas and should be able to walk shortly after that! The wonders of modern medicine are amazing!

Spent this weekend with my parents working on the house and making it livable... shot the whole inside with kilz now which finally took care of the smoker smell, and got a little kitchen/living room setup in one of the rooms and a bed setup in another almost finished one. Then spent the rest of the time putting the last touches on the bathroom... All I have is the finished picture now, but I'll try to find a before pic as well... Insane difference what a new vanity, floor, shower door, and paint will do! Still have to trim it out once I'm moving a bit better, but it's definitely a step in the right direction!

Great progress! Hope you're back in your own place soon. Know you love your folks, but...

The other thing is to absolutely, postively know where you are. There are little-used roads in that area that may very well be legal county roads or ROW's but locals protect them for whatever reason. They might have had a meth lab set up around there or something else highly illegal that they don't want strangers to see. More often than not I've found them to be good ol' boys with an overload of testosterone. If anyone points a gun at me and I survive the encounter I'm calling The Man.

Be careful out there.
I agree. If we ever get one of these yahoos on camera, we should show each other and then the authorities. In that order. And then all avoid that roadway.

That bathroom looks awesome. I am getting ready to do the same here at the end of the month but have to tear down a full tile shower that is built in the middle of the bathroom.

Malhon- Glad to hear things are on the up and up. That must have been one MEAN Swingline that they put to work on your leg. Nice looking remodel, its amazing what a new piant job and some fixtures can do.

Brandishing a firearm is a big no-no.
