I got about half the route driven today...........man I feel like I have been cheating all these years by following the routes that others have worked on. It is NOT as easy as you would think. I had it easy compared to the guys that went out with maps a compass and if lucky a GPS.

Mapsource did most of the work except for the fact that all the roads Mapsource shows are not always roads,so then comes the not so fun part which is trying to find an alternate route to get back on the track......yeah I know it sounds easy.

We(my daughter and navigator) were out for about 4 hrs and covered about half of the route. I will have to finish it at a later date, which will probably be Christmas since we will be doing ours on the Eve(wife works Christmas day)

My little co-driver and navigator......

Stuff is going back to the Military on fun a fun note on that part of the world, they paved the gravel road that goes past the POW church(which sucks) but man you can get so much air if you hit the bridge at 30. So be safe do not do it.

Sunday lunch report...

Picture flood -

Josh, Anthony and I met up at Micky D's in Jeffersonville to start the ride north, but first we had to check out this cool little scoot...

Spray painted duct tape...love it...and the 5 gal bucket fairing.

Piloted by Neil. Note the matching lid and weed eater face shield.

You're cool in my book Neil!

Met up with David (davidc83) on 160 and did Skyline Rd. near Brownstown on the way up. Roads were damp and a little slick. Dried out nice for the ride home.

Josh messing with his new GoPro...

Anthony (keeponriding)

Woh! What we got here...

Tim's project

As godwinmt said before, "one of these is not like the other"...

Bernie's BBQ

Why we ride...

John (hannabone) rode over from Versailles on his black Tenere

Tim & OBD

Gabor and David

Tim and Anthony

Josh

Time to roll home.

OBD on his Honda ST

Got home about 5:00 and almost 250 on the clock. Had a great time meeting up guys!

Michael Michael Motorcycle

So I no longer need any of the off road classes this summer. I watched a move from netflix called Michael Michael Motorcycle which is written for kids that are aged with my mentality.

Man, I missed my chance to see the Passport of legend. I hope WRat was able to get some desert this time since I wasn't there to steal the last of it.

I bought a Yamaha Jog scooter just for the fun of it one time. Bored the cylinder to accept a YFM60 piston and did some clutch work on it. Could wheelie that lil turd as far as you wanted to. What a hoot! Top end was right around 55 mph but still had enough nutz to git r done from a dead start to. After I got tired of it, I sold it to one of the various alcoholics around here to use as his liquor-sickle. Last I had heard, he used to get hammered and crash his brains out on that thing, despite the warnings to be careful on it. LOL
I always wanted to get a bumper sticker made for the side of it that said " Yes, I do have a scooter AND a drivers license" :)

If Americans egos weren’t so big and we were all more practical everyone that lives in town would own a scooter. Why do all of these soccer moms need to drive their Hummers just to pick up a cup of coffee from Starbucks? Ohhh that’s right because it’s cool to be impractical.

To be honest, that's probably the only reason I don't have a Vespa yet. I'm afraid people I don't know and will never talk to won't think I'm cool.

I'm finally getting old enough that I no longer give a sh........

Oh, that and the semi-conscious a-holes driving 4 ton pickup trucks 50mph in 30mph zones. Not to mention sexting teenie boppers.

This isn't in English but it'll give you an idea of what's in it. No clue of the price, either but you can bet it won't be cheap.

If you want to have the fastest pit bike (or Passport!) in town one of these might be the ticket. Make sure your heath insurance is paid up, though--I'll venture to bet one of these in a Honda CRF-50 would remove skin at an amazing rate...
Impressive looking little power plant.
Honda step-throughs and clones put 'way more people on wheels than the Model T.
With the rat-motor you could haul like 173 chickens.
Want.
