Yes, I rode over to Lake George a couple of years ago. Great riding around the area. I spend about 3 hours looking around at the swap meet stuff and spent the rest of the time riding.

Mostly couples on touring bikes pulling trailers. Everyone seems to have a lot of fun. About 50K people show up for it.

I would never go back unless I took a girlfriend. There's a lot to do besides ride which I didn't do any of. ;)

I had planned on taking my girlfriend but she had just started a new job about a month earlier and they wouldn't let her take off.
I had planned on stopping by Niagara falls and had a room booked over looking the falls and everything. I had already pre-paid for the cabin near lake George so I went by myself and just rode around the whole time. I was on my ST1300 and met some other STers there and had dinner one night. Everything worked out in the end. Don't have that girlfriend anymore but have some new friends that I met there. ;)

Yep. I grew up south of Lake George in upstate NY. Went to Americade '99, home and then back to party at Laconia @ Weirs Beach a week later. Worlds apart in atmosphere! Americade was great. I'd go back again, for sure!

RoadDad... you requested this on 8-15-2010 me thinks... so, as not to disappoint.

After we returned from the CDR, I loaded my pics and erased my SD cards. 2 days later my computer hard drive crashed, along with everything on it.

4 days ago I finally restored to the best of my ability, a few of my pics and video.

Perfect timing as well... I just got a new editing program to play with...

It's a little long winded... but it matches my Dad and his bud's conversation skills...

All 12 minutes of it...
