My expensive Gortex 'clone' Sidi Adventure Rain boots leak...

Wish I would have waited til the genuine Goretx model was out. I think I'm going to get a pair of those Seal Skin waterproof socks at Bass Pro to see if that helps. I do have pair of those big honk'in Cabelas rubber insulated boots for mucking around in the snow and mud. They're so bulky they wouldn't do for riding.

Beach grove thug wanna bes all have the same haircut thinking they are little Vanilla Ices. I refer to this as the Beach Grove haircut. I'm always having to tell them. The just need to Stop. Collaborate and Listen because I'm back with a brand new invention.

Never come to the US. a 125cc motard wont sell, heck even Kawaski has stopped importing their 250 cc motard (klx250sf) which I own one. I bought a 09 new in January 2011 at the dealer for less than half the original msrp. It is a fun little bike to ride, which I have gotten up to 77mph on the gps but no more. That 125 cc in the video hit 106 but that was kilometers which equals to about 65-66mph top end. Most guys on this forum complain their big thumpers and twins dont have enough umph at 3, 4, 5 or more times the CCs. The video did show a cute bike which was made ugly by those oversize tires on it.

It's not a motard. Just a cheap 125cc bike. More a scooter really. That you have to shift. 12 inch tires are oversized?? It's a city bike. Not Indiana bike.
You bought a 250 and wanted it to go faster than 77? Guess you should have got the drz sumo. Doing the Ton not a problem. Craigslist search perhaps? Hayabusa might be more your bike.

not sure this is the correct place but I just wanted to introduce myself.......

I'm new to the "adventure" culture but I have been riding since 99. mostly Honda's and HD's, but as of a few weeks ago I am the proud owner of a new to me KLR 650 (bought off of this site). If anyone out there wants to log some miles or just give me an idea of area's to cut my teeth on in Indiana it would be much appreciated.
