Was 27 this morning when I fired up the Austrian Punkin Chucker II to head out on a southern route. Fingertips a bit nipply, but other than that, not too bad. :+)

Lunch

Rode to lunch through Yellowood SF.
Roads were dry,but lot of sand on it.
Despite the cold 6 inmate at lunch all on a motorcycle.
After lunch 4 of us went SW of Bloomington.
We checked out this cool Limestone quarry/note the goat on 1st picture:) :

Also went to see the construction of the I69.
While it is good to see Indiana improving, also sad to see those properties along the construction suffer./no picture, keep forgetting to take'em/
Gravel roads were wet, some place we ran into snow too.

My classic suggestion is not mainstream, but I submit Cycles South, available via youtube in 7 sections:

For all of my coworkers on H1-B visas, if they are willing to take my "American culture" training, I highly recommend (in part) Young Frankenstein, Caddy Shack, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, Patton, It's a Wonderful Life, Terminator, Anger Management, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest and Anything with Clint Eastwood. Oh, and Up in Smoke to give them a taste of what it was like before authoritarianism got so popular.

Wish that I had taken my camera today. Luckily ol' Tom had his camera handy. Had a good time gettin' the new steed out for a roll. Only got it down once today. Luckily, it was almost to a full stop when it happened. Sorry, no photos of that

Anyone recognize this??

I thought that looked familiar you guys were about 30 seconds from my house. I'm surprised the gates were open on the weekend for you guys to ride through. That is one BIG quarry.
