Carmel Ridge Rd and Mt Zion rds were good today. A little sand left on them I hope the rain tonight washes away. Nice 100 mile ride for myself.

Looking good! I don't think you would have had nearly as much fun on that road on your Versys as you did on your KLX.

Actually, I've been selling the B/M TruGel batteries for about 3 years now and folks have had pretty good luck with them. They have a two year full replacement warranty and I've never had any issues with my distributor replacing any, hassle free. I'm not sure what the return policy is @ MSS.com compared to buying locally. I guess the only drawback that I have seen with the TruGels is the CCA rating is lower than that of a comparable AGM battery, from say, Yuasa. Personally, I like the new L/I batteries that I've been getting for folks from a U.S.A. bred & born company called Antigravity Batteries. You can take a look at 'em @ http://antigravitybatteries.com/ to see what best suits your needs. Much more Cranking Amps & really super lightweight battery. The downside of them is they cost a bit more than a conventional type battery. Tons more power with much less weight....well worth the lil' bit of extra cabbage if you can swing it.

motobatt

I have been using these yellow motobatt batteries in all my bikes with good results, they are sealed absorbed glass mat but what I like is the have 4 terminals so its an extra set of terminals to connect a fuse block or gadgets to.

Got one from TooSlow 2 years ago. It came properly pre-charged and has been in the bike since. Never had to charge it.
