Weekend ride
Looks like a great weekend. Anyone interested in meeting up and making a ride from Bloomington or Nashville to Elkinsville and the trail that runs out of there? Anxious to get my DR out of hibernation.

Unfortunately I have to work the next 3 weekends...
The ride through Elkinsville and the trail sounds good though. I just got a DR and I'm looking for those types of roads. I looked at a few of these posts, but this thread is massive. Is there any other information you can give me on that trail? Thanks.

Work on Saturday and Moms birthday on Sunday. I'll keep an eye out on here but doubt I'll be able to squeeze it in. Right now sure would be a perfect time to do that stretch though. Take plenty of pictures, and ride the dust off of that DR!

What time are you thinking of meeting up and where? I would be coming from Bloomington but I have to see if my wife can handle carting the kids around to softball practice.

I might be able to do a sunday ride. Gotta work saturday. Don't schedule anything around me, but do continue to discuss here in this thread, for those of us who merely hope to ride in good company this weekend.

Saturday (4/6/13) ride
Since the responses have been from Bloomington, how about meeting at the McDonald's in Bloomington at 46 and Pete Ellis at 10am Saturday? That way we can head south on nearby 446 to the Deam WIlderness and Tower Ridge Road and ride into Elkinsville the back way.

We are having the first event this weekend. Hoping to get some new stuff going this year.
Supposed to have 60+ volunteers this weekend for the Jeeps. Plan on getting another single track day soon to clean up trails 41 & 42

It looks like the wife can handle carting the kids around Saturday so I'm in. Looking forward to it.

While draining my oil tonight I got a little surprise on the end of my magnetic drain plug...a screw. I always thought checking the Neutral Switch screws on the DR's was one of those ADVrider old wives tales. My bike has under 12,000 miles on it and thankfully my magnetic drain plug caught the little guy before me motor chewed it up and spit out more parts.
Just food for thought for all of my Indiana DR riding brethren.
