must be a union work environment. but they did a great job. my first attempt up the hill today nearly put me over bars from the wash out in front of root. following two attempts were smooth sailing.

good job guys... and gals... and kids.

Great vid!

The Triumph looks like fun. Good? Maybe not, but fun for sure.

David Bisard

On a new note if you haven't heard, Bisard was arrested again. Yes he was drunk again & crashed his truck. Hopefully they'll keep him off the road this time.

Thanks to all who showed up and helped out. Hoping to get some new trails soon out there.

Not me! I want people to know "why" I look this way.
I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

A little get off while riding in Wayne NF yesterday. I think I had too much air in front tire. I've had a problem of the front end washing out for a while now so any advice from you guys would be appreciated. Tire is like new Dunlop MX51 still with sharp edges. :(

funny because the trail does not look slick.
Did you brake ??
Tires should be at 13/14/15 off road imo.
Stand up, lean back, steer with rear wheel.
After looking at it a few times , the bottom of tire was on slicker trail and the higher part of front tire may have hooked up on grassy sod at trails edge. ????
Suspension set up could be a factor.

I'm not sure what my air pressure was because I didn't check it right before riding. I have the tubliss system installed and have a slow leak in my front tire. The day before I put in about 18 PSI. :(

I hit a ridge in the middle of the trail that had loose stuff and lost it. :(

I think it was a combo of too much air pressure and suspension setup. My rebound and compression on front was set to really soft and my rear preload is at max plus I pulled the forks up in triple about 3/4 in.

I'm going to set everything back to stock and try to get a baseline to work from.

Motocross / flat track style
Butt on the seat, outside knee locked on the gas tank, inside leg out, weight forward for more front end traction.
Watch some youtube videos. MX bike seats go way up the gas tank for a reason. Flat trackers pop up into the corners and scoot forward on the seat.
If you've got loaded side and fender cases you should probably sit on the gas tank to help front traction.

I run 20 psi front always unless it's muddy or a race. Then 15.

That could be another problem I have too. I have a scoped out lowered step seat that kind of locks me into position. I also have that tank bag on that prevents me from scooting forward. :( I may just put the stock seat back on and get rid of the tank bag. I know I need to figure this out because this is not the first time I've lost the front end. Landon and I were sort of racing each other down a gravel road out in Colorado and I slowed down and let him win because of my front end washing out in the turns. I told him that's why I let him win even though he didn't believe me. lol

That remind me of the time Tpar took me riding off road for the first time and put 60psi in my front tire. That dick.
