If you want a kid working on your bike thats fine.
If you want a qualified mechanic visit 35 motorsports.
He is able to custom work oem stuff or go full ohlins, anything in between.
I am not a big suspension guy but this has made a big improvement in bike.

Ruben has been around motorcycles darn near all his life and as an AMA racer he knows what it takes to make a bike perform. Lucky to have such a qualified individual near us. You need suspension work or motor work, among other service, go see Ruben.

My cousin is like that, sadly he's in the deep South, too far away. Near Christopher IL. Gave up dirt and has an awesome stock RZ350. He was #2 AMA half mile in the 70's. I knew he did real well locally in MX, but found that in AMA magazines on google books.

Can anyone think of a reason other than you can't open it from the seat as to why a pelican case should not be mounted on a rear rack with the hinge to the front?

Cool. Wish we had something like that in Lafayette. Gotta be ready to wheelie up when you come across a stiff in the trail

Ride on Saturday

So long as the weather holds out, I am planning on heading out from the West Side of Indy early Saturday morning and going to explore the Northern part of the HNF. Never ridden much off the beaten path down there and have been wanting to check it out. Anyone want to join I am always game to ride with the fellow ADV brethren. As of right now I have no final destination or plans other than to leave early in the morning and get back sometime late afternoon or early evening.

Or, if anyone has any suggestions of areas to check out north of Patoka Lake that are anything short of gnarly single track I'm all ears.

I may be a bit off here but I was considering a ride NE of the Lake Monroe portion of HNF. I may not be able to head over quite so early but could possibly meet up with you at some point. I kinda have a route planned based on suggestions from a fellow V-Strom rider that lives in the area but I'm not tied to that route. I've re-read your post and now realize your planning on riding farther SW.
