I won't miss the Moto GP one bit, now the flat track race is a different story. I considered heading back Saturday so I could go to the flat track race, but then decided against it.

Damn I haven't missed the Indy mile since it came back.
Ah well. Central Rally makes everything all right.

I'd go to central rally over the races if I could. This will be the last year of the GP though. So who knows if flat track sticks around.

Love this paragraph. My youngest is now 7, but I remember all that like it was yesterday. And putting eye drops in a toddler's eyes is like trying to hold a cat's head still.....amazing strength when they go into survival mode! Hope it's all smoothing out AC!

Route request

BTW, if anyone wants to do some riding down around Oldenburg and 229, count me in. I find more awesome roads down there every time I run through. I'm going to work up a route soon.
DenaliDan, if you get that route worked up, please post here that you've got it done, whether it just be a list of roads like a roll sheet, a gps track, whatever. I'm sure several of us would appreciate it! Is this a pavement only route or gravel/trail, etc?

I've only found pavement so far. Single lane, lane-and-half twisty backroads. But I'll be on the lookout for some unpaved sections too.

I led a Miata group run down in that area a few years ago but it is even more fun on a bike.

Can't believe I never saw this thread before. Just got pointed this way from another Indiana member so I'll have to take some time and read through it.

I swapped out my DRZ for a YZ450 that isn't plated so I can't hit the streets anymore but I would definitely be interested in joining for some trail rides.
