Oh I'd bring the drz for a little fun. Once the boy is a little bigger I'd bring the Ural.

Looks like we are going to have a cool weekend. I am busy Saturday, but does anyone want to ride Sunday?

I rode one day of buffaloe dual sport and one day adventure last year. Dualsport is tight woods with technical sections. The adventure is all pavement and gravel, a few creek crossings. Need roll chart or follow someone.

A roll chart?! Indiana Dakar ride or what? I'll just follow some richy on a dirtless GS with fancy GPS.

My roomate's 2013 Honda CRF250L was stolen last night from our driveway in Bloomington. Most of the rear plate holder stuff is gone, the rear fender is bent up a bit and has a noticeable crease in it. The right front right turn signal is bent upwards a bit, headlight fairing has zipties in it, all the reflectors are gone, last had one folding mirror on it. Sillver MSR Handguards also. Keep an eye out if you could please, I'll be searching Craigslist as time goes on.

Thanks

I'm just outside of Oldenburg,
What I find interesting is how much I have been missing by avoiding the roads less traveled. I head out pretty much each week end and go out of my way to find roads that I have avoided, overlooked or simply never cared what was at the other end. All because I stumbled upon this website about a year ago and was immediately addicted. To answer your question regarding "unpaved adventure", my answer would be...it depends. If your looking for something challenging for a DS bike, most of what I have found is either posted, gated or blocked by strategically placed logs. If adventure touring is more your thing then here are a few photos of some of the more interesting areas I have stumbled across.

Or this?

OR maybe?

OR

And

Well we just found it down the street in the public pool parking lot. Apparently the would be thieves rolled in down the hill and tried to punch the ignition and failed. Probably the work of tweakers or kids without a truck...

Is it a public riding area or a double top secret area that requires sneaking in under the cover of darkness?

Dr has pissed me off. I'm headed down to ride some gravel and do some water crossings if anyone wants to join. Just shoot me a text or call 9376841556.
