18" Is factory. I am looking for a wheel for more of a street/DS setup so I definitely wouldn't be apposed to a 17" but I have never seen such a thing.

Ahhh yeah. I am pretty sure the axle sizes would be different. Thanks though.

Thanks, is it the 250L or the 650L? I can do some checking.

Heading down Madison way Saturday

Got about a 200 mile loop planned for this Saturday heading from Seymour down past Madison and back. Should be a nice scenic route with a decent bit of gravel if anyone's bored and wants to ride. Get to see how the little WR does stretching its legs a bit on a longer trip before pucky huddle!

I've got it mapped out on my GPS back home and will get a track up later tonight...just wanted to give a heads up if anyone was interested.

Well, I did some checking. It looks like the 650L wheel will fit nearly all of the larger XR's besides the 250. Thanks for the offer though. I put a WTB add in the flea market so hopefully something turns up. Anyone have a good online used parts source, besides eBay, I may check out for a wheel assembly?

Thanks for the heads up! The route as it sits now is located here. From what I can see on streetview, it should be very big bike friendly and will go past a few covered bridges. If anyone knows of anywhere else worth gandering out and about let me know.

Looks like you need to change your route. HERE is a map of the refuge. I'm sure they closed the Us 31 entrance so the only way in or out now is the US 50 main entrance. Speaking of muscatatuck ,the military closed MUTC to traffic so watch routes between butlerville and the muscatatuck river. They have a somewhat current map of the complex on their site under the contact tab. Crosley in Vernon has a road through it with a possible creek crossing if the water is flowing. I don't suggest it if it's a lot of water. You can find another covered bridge in shieldstown that has the old log bed road showing in the river. 38.915068,-86.003072 If you get to it through rockford and down to cortland you might get wet from the irrigation sprinklers. They had them on around Azalia a week or so go ago also.

Good find...i'll have to check that out on the way back

Here's the updated route with the suggestions on where to venture to...Should be pretty fun. Have to keep an eye out for any side roads to take that might be a bit more entertaining...something with a name in the format of "adjective-animal-landform"-road would be sufficient...see if I can find a drunken skunk ridge road or somethign to that nature...I'd like to be gone by 8 in the morning, most likely leaving from the Marathon near exit 50 on I65.
