Yes it is true I did have to bail Woodsrat out one day when his beater truck was out o gas with some weird fueling system that would work with a C130 refueling him.....and Nick is right the truck in the picture being crushed is more road worthy that Tim's.

i have spent some time in that truck, it rides worse than my one ton diesel and gets worse fuel mileage too. i will never understand the dipstick fuel gauge system he has in place. the drivers side bed rail is ready to fall off... so don't lean on it!

but.... it has a small block chev, 305 with a 700r4 od trans. my guess is that ol beater will still be roamin the earth longer than any you chumps could imagine.

kinda like a klr.... no respect.

I agree with Tpar, think this truck will keep going. Might need some rust cut out and replaced but why not?

Also I got my new tent today. It packs to the size of a football. Nemo moto 1p it is so tiny and no pesky polesto deal with, well there is a 6 inch one at the feet area if I wanna use it.
Screw poles.

Sounds like a good time, but heading to Colorado on the 11th. I'm leaving the F800 behind this time and I'm sure I'll regret it.

earlier in the year woodsrat and i went out scouting a new location for the totally unofficial hnf campout. we found a good spot away from the horses, so hopefully this year i won't try dumping my bike in a steamin horse ploppy.

although i don't recall if he ever posted the the where abouts of the new location? we covered some ground that day and i am sure my gps track looks like a bowl of spaghetti but am pretty sure i know where it is. and i like it better than the other place.

so... does anyone recall if woodsrat posted that location? if not i will go back and find it and post it up. may take me couple weeks though as i am tied up this weekend and next. maybe.... just maybe i have a waypoint saved somewhere, i will look later tonight... if my gps weren't all way out in barn i would look now. but i am lazy... so..
