Laugh Russia Ufaley 2011

Hi all,

My first post on this wonderful forum.

I'm driving a BMW 1100 GS '94 (and I own a Yamaha tt 600 e Belgarda '98 for (an) other adventure(s)......)

I read a lot of your wonderful stories since a year and it's time to pay a little bit back.

I'm a Dutch guy living nowadays in the north of the Netherlands, crazy about motorcycle journeys/traveling and I'm leaving for Russia with my best friend (Hungarian) in a couple of weeks......(leaving may 27th late afternoon 2011).

Countdown...!!!

It's a journey with a mission since our goal is to take pictures for his grandma (over 90 years old in good condition) who lost her husband during the Second World War in this area.

Our goal is Russia, Ufaley which is a roundtrip of 9500 km in 21 days for me.

It's "the border" of Siberia in the Ural Mountains area.

This is my World and I’m pretty sure…your world!

It will take some time but it’s a promise, I/we will post our journey on this forum!

Cheers and Carpe Secundus!

Sounds like and incredible adventure! Russia has really opened up more recently....but the riding is some of the most difficult and dangerous I have ever seen on ride reports. Looking forward to hearing more about your trip. Be safe and ride on dude!

eh? I don't think that riding here is very difficult or dangerous (unless you're out there with Colebatch and TonyP)...

Ага точно так.
Особенно хорошо обстоит дело с запчастями и знанием английского языка местным населением:)
