Also I'm interested by this GSA crashbar extension:

U said it was made by Adventure Design but I couldn't find any info on google....

Its OK. She doesn't mind my interest in antique telephones.

I have a Dell Mini 901. Its great for stuff like this. best of all it doesn't attract as much attention as the bigger laptops.

And I'm impressed that you're doing such a long ride using just the standard bags, without all sorts of gear strapped and hanging off the bikes. Traveling light is the way to go!!

Really? That one comment about the clean HD's upset you that much? Wow. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

I found it to be an ironic statement because they went ahead and "covered" their adventure bikes, while the HD guys were man enough to leave em' exposed to the elements.
