Would there be any negative effects in running some seafoam through the system every five or six tanks, just to keep it clean?

I regards to running seafoam i have no idea..... but definitively 5 or 6 tanks I believe would be too much. If anything every 20K miles i'd think.

fuel pump issues with the 800GS and 800ST

Known issue. Fuel pump over heats and seizes- bike stops - could result in death or dieaster. Keeping the tank full keeps the pump cool so it does not seize. Hope your fuel pump will last longer then the original

Might be wrong thread.. But i had the usual 50k fuel pump failure .. New pump is getting replaced tomorrow w only 15,000 Km on it.... New `starting on one cylinder when hot` issue...
