Cool Beans FireballR! I have not been there yet, but it has been on my list of places to go for a while. Don't know if I will have the opportunity this week or weekend. The woods are lovely, dark, and deep.

Tag-o-rama is one of the neat things of the last month for me. I am really looking forward to the summer when I have time to ride when I want.

Edited to include that I really like the rule about paved roads, or notification of gravel road being needed. My rig is really only a street setup.

One more Picture:

I just love CCC projects and the history behind them.

I was at this location just two weeks ago

What is the CCC?

holy moly Wally. You are riding a Ural. Even without the 2wd those things will go anywhere. We took ours up to Tellico Plains last Spring for four days of dirt roads. Never engaged the 2wd once. Even during the river crossings.

Back to the subject at hand. How much is a laptop with a wireless? I hate the idea of missing a tag because it took me too long to get home and load a pic on this slow a** dialup.

Birmingham - Huntsville

Huntsville - Next Tag

Tag - Huntsville

About 350 miles I think.

David, Can't get over the horse farm. What an unbelievable place. Thanks for sending us that way. Everyone should put this one on their must see list!

Hokay, I need to stretch my "comfort zone" with the still shiny bike, then. I have 18,0000 Km on the odometer so far, but it is mainly a ride to work. This summer I intend to take pics on the "Tragical History Tour" of things like Horseshoe Bend, Tannehill, Shiloh, and such. Last year, my ideas were thwarted by my wife's evil plans of fixing things at the house and travels with her family. This summer will be mine! Bwahaahaaahaaaaaaaaaa!

OK, first of all this TAG is not mine. It belongs to a friend of mine. I will let him tell the story.

A friend told about the Adventure Rider Motorcycle website, and forum that was there, and the new Alabama Tag-o-Rama. I thought that I would love this kind of game and really would like to join in the fun. I did go to a few of the locations and I did get to the Clarkson Covered Bridge and my pick for a new tag location was all ready to go. But I forgot one little thing, I was not signed up to use the forum, so when I got home and went to join the list, it was closed to all new applicants. So I was out of luck for this game. Then one of my riding buddies told me that he would post some for me if I got them, so the game was back on. I found the water tower and thought it would be a good Saturday or Sunday ride and was making plans to do so, but it was gone before I knew it. Sloss Furnace zipped by, Turkey Creek and Heritage Valley Farms will stay on my list of places to get to, but I knew Mt Cheaha as soon as it was posted and I was going to get it. I left Huntsville right from work, at 5:30 PM, just after reading the new post and worked my way there. Boy that "Pig Trail" or what ever you want to call it, from the Talladega side of the mountain is quite the ride in the dark. I get to the park and nobody was at the gate but the sign said it was open till 9:00 so I was still good and I went on up to the spot. How dark does it need to be, for you not to get the shot, but I remembered the Barbers photo was dark and you could still tell where he was, so I was good. Now back home before the wife gets to upset about the late hour that I was out and about. Now I forward this all on to my buddy and he has to get up early and post it for me, so that I get the TAG before anyone else does. ---RANGER

sheesh, he took the pig trial up the back way. No wonder I was up half the night waiting for him. Anyway. This is RANGER's follow up tag.

and a clue.
