Good catch. Looks like very early morning. Nice bike.

I'd also like to know how to post from iPhone if anyone has the experience.

Cheers.

I have a droid, not an iPhone, so it may be different for you. I downloaded a photobucket app on my droid and it will upload cellphone photos to the photobucket site. I can then easily post them to ADVrider or any other forum. The pictures are kind of small though, there may be a better way.

I plan to use this when I finally have time to go get a tag.

I also use a Droid with the Photobucket app. I don't remember setting up a default size but the pics I post are 1024 x 768, almost too big.

Well, we need to find a middle ground then. I'll search around the phone and photobucket and see if I can find out how to size the pictures.

Sorry for the thread hijack. I found it, on the photobucket upload screen there is a selection for "other options" that sets the picture size for the uploaded pictures.

Hey Tom, exactly what they said. I have been using the Photobucket App on my Iphone since it came out. The App gives several different options for links, works easily and is Free.

Any questions just PM me and ill be glad to try to help.

New Tag

Sorry, this took a while. I was able to upload my pics to photo bucket, but then when I click on the little landscape icon above to post the link, all it does is actually post the thread/address instead of the picture. So I had to wait until I got home.

I met up with Jumper in Anniston and we road some of the numerous forestry roads in Talladega forest. Excellent riding.

While we were Sauty(n) around the lake up a bit further north we came across this cool "Pure" sign in the Y of the road. That is the new tag.

Hmmm...looks like something I saw Wednesday. About 4,414.18 feet from something I took a photo of, but who's counting?

Cheerios.

I-phone and Smugmug app. The first time took me about 45 min to figure out. I have to open a page in Smugmug and copy the pic. then open a page in ADV and paste just like normal. If I remember correctly?

Thanks! I'll give it a shot and see how it goes. One annoyance is the lack of 3G AT&T coverage...on top of a lack of plain old cell and Edge coverage. Everything seems to run in slo-mo out here in the weeds.

Cheers.

Wilson generally makes good stuff. That may help basic connectivity, but won't help with 3G since AT&T only has 3G in four metro areas in the state: Mobile, Montgomery, Birmingham and Huntsville. I'm told they have no plans to expand 3G coverage up here.

I'd switch providers, but I like the iPhone, and AT&T service is paid by my company. (That's insane, isn't it? Keeping a provider that has poor to non-existent coverage because you like the phone doesn't make much sense. Sometimes I think I'm an idiot.)

Sorry for the hijack.

Cheers.

Alabama Dinner Thread

Thought I would cross post this over here just in case any of you missed it on the Dinner Thread. Anyway, the missus and I are planning a ride over Little River Canyon way on the Saturday before Labor day (9/4/10). The plan is to do lunch at the Big Time Cafe in Dog Town. Their bugers are world famous. I double dare anyone to order the double burger.

Anyway, it would be our pleasure if any of you folks would like to join us. The current plan is to meet at 1:00pm. Bratso and I are behind on our quota of riding, so we are going to be there regardless.

Oh, and I have heard the Canyon Parkway is closs from Hwy 255 to 35 for bridge repair so plan your route accordingly.

Hope to see you there.
