Wilson generally makes good stuff. That may help basic connectivity, but won't help with 3G since AT&T only has 3G in four metro areas in the state: Mobile, Montgomery, Birmingham and Huntsville. I'm told they have no plans to expand 3G coverage up here.

I'd switch providers, but I like the iPhone, and AT&T service is paid by my company. (That's insane, isn't it? Keeping a provider that has poor to non-existent coverage because you like the phone doesn't make much sense. Sometimes I think I'm an idiot.)

Sorry for the hijack.

Cheers.

Alabama Dinner Thread

Thought I would cross post this over here just in case any of you missed it on the Dinner Thread. Anyway, the missus and I are planning a ride over Little River Canyon way on the Saturday before Labor day (9/4/10). The plan is to do lunch at the Big Time Cafe in Dog Town. Their bugers are world famous. I double dare anyone to order the double burger.

Anyway, it would be our pleasure if any of you folks would like to join us. The current plan is to meet at 1:00pm. Bratso and I are behind on our quota of riding, so we are going to be there regardless.

Oh, and I have heard the Canyon Parkway is closs from Hwy 255 to 35 for bridge repair so plan your route accordingly.

Hope to see you there.

If you have problems on a 3G and have not upgraded to OS4 DON'T. It will get worse.

That is cool, but all anybody would be able to hear is a 7.3 clattering and someone talking in the background for me.

Got a 96 crew cab 350 with a big block, 2000 X cab with a 7.3, and a 99 550 with 7.3. So very close.

Is yours lifted or just Skyjacker shocks. Everybody thinks my 96 is lifted but it is just stock. Looks like a leveling kit.

BTW that is a good looking truck better keep it.

iPhone might not get 3G many places. It is tough phone. Brown Dog ran over my iPhone with his 690. Did not even scratch it.

My last 3G in an Otter Box kinda survived and F350. It worked, but the screen was just solid white.

You find the CATOR yet?

No find on that CATOR. I got the clues but did not spot the new Tag on Google Map.
I am going to let some BMH ADV riders get that one.

I've got the Reverse Front Leaf Spring Shackle kit [offroad unlimited] to make it ride better which raises it 2.5" with stock springs. 3" dropped pitman arm.
The rear is raised 1-1/4" to make it set level.

I love the Strait Axle MonoBeam F350 front end with Single Rear Wheel

I miss my 3.55 axle ratio as I swapped it to 4.10 years ago
Thanks. It's not for sale

Hmmm...not much down south. I've got a west central Alabama in the can, and more recent ones in Madison Co., and sorta northeast Alabummer.

Cheerios.

New Tag

Say no more. For those in the northeast or east central quadrants(?), this one is kinda in your back yard. Important: the sign is the tag, not the place described on the sign; therefore, Google will get you within a few miles but not within sight. The tag is mainly toward the centre of things and finding it will be an education.

Enjoy.
