The method I used to teach TruckinThumper was kinda mean.I went and got a tube of crickets,and every time he stalled,he had to eat a cricket! When he finally mastered it,he grinned and had cricket legs and antennas stuck between his teeth .And yall know the rest of the story .

Awesome job! I subscribed to this thread sometime back and I have really enjoyed following the progress! Your son is a lucky kid to have a great family, I hope you all enjoy watching him grow with the bike. I can remember my first bike, was rebuilt very similar to what you did. He will always remember that bike as I am sure you will!

Well since the bike is not running or moving I did not see the need to have him put it all on. But when he is riding he wears all he has ALL THE TIME!

Well after several years it is time for Carter to move up again. Was going to do this again with a TTR125LE but it seems that he has taken over my TTR225.

Going to be selling the little XR80R shortly if you know anyone interested.
