2010 Suzuki Models on Website

Greetings V-Strom fans. I just purchased a WEE on Sat.
I'll be picking it up later this week, not soon enough for my taste's but that's life.
So I've been lurking on Suzuki's website extensively and this morning low and behold 2010 models are up on the site.
Both the 1000 & 650 have gone up in price dramatically and only come with ABS. The MSRP WEE is now $9,499 and there's a "Touring" model with all the luggage for (sit down for this one) $10,499!!

I pulled the trigger just in time! Pics to follow when I get the WEE home.

I'm not seeing the 2010 models.

Do you have a link to the appropriate page?

I just went back to the site to get the info and 2010 models are gone!!!!!!!

I was just looking at it 15 minutes ago and 2010's were there, some of the links were changing as I plunked around, I clicked on the 2009 tab and it only showed the 2010 lineup. I.T.team is probably fixing things????

There was a tab that said 2010, not now though.

It could have been that they were working on the site, and that is why you saw what you did. They were testing it and so forth. I hope that Wee goes way up in price. That might bring the value of mine up. Just kidding. Let us know if you see it again.

With the new price increases.....I think that there will be a mad rush to snap up '09's now. I emailed my wife to let her know that we did good by buying on Saturday.

Methinks maybe you got on the Suzuki Canada website by accident.

By the way, they are not currently selling for MSRP. Suzuki screwed the pooch (and their dealers) with last year's increases. My local dealer just folded, and offered me his last '09 650 for $6500. Another dealer in the area had some a couple of months ago for about $6300 (non-ABS).

Non confirmed rumor .......

Has it that Suzuki USA is not making a 2010 DL650 or DL1000 ....

Again, this is not confirmed, but if you keep checking Suzuki's US site, don't be surprised if you don't see em .......

Gotta love rumors.

Suzuki seems to have hired some folks with no business or marketing sense, though, so nothing they do will surprise me.

I would doubt that they are going to drop the V-Stroms for the US market. The dealer where I bought my Wee had 3 Wee's left and literally dozens of cruisers and sport bikes on the floor. It seems like V-Stroms are selling well in Colorado at least. And to Adventure Rider Inmates!

The V-Stroms, especially the 1000, having been getting axed every year since about 05. I'll believe it when I don't see it.

I'm surprised there aren't at least some "bold new colors". They must really be cutting costs, or trying to find ways not to increase prices any further.
