Velorex bits

Greetings Hackians.
I seek membership into your secret society in the form of a Velorex 562 that I recently scored, awaiting installation on my /5 BMW.
The chair's in great shape, needs a few trim odds and ends etc, all easily doable. One thing I'm curious about- is a rain cover available for them? Mine came with a ratty old canvas tonneau cover unfit for bum wiping, it shouldn't be hard to reproduce, but twas thinking something that could be used avec passenger would be dandy swell.
Who's the best to deal with for 562 bits?

I bought my Velorex new and the ratty canvas tonneau was a stock item. It also came with a soft top that would enclose the passenger compartment and trap your passenger within as it had to be secured from the outside.

The soft top makes the entire chair unit about 10" taller than the top of the windshield, so it's probably not something you would want to leave up if not needed to keep your passenger dry or entombed.

Any upholstery shop can make a cover for the hack. You may have to install a few snaps (or have them do it). Velorex parts can be sourced from Velorex USA. Welcome to the Wacky World.

Go here to download the .pdf part manuals for the 562. It shows they sell a tonneau just for the cockpit and one that covers the windshield as well. Any Velorex dealer should be able to order one for you.
