been wondering if they can be made down only and no back?
i have a size 8 shoe and don't need more boot room but do need more drop in the pegs. not all who need legnth also have a large foot.
currently planning on getting procycles lowered mounts as they drop down but not back.

Rear setting the pets GREATLY improves that standing position ergos and allows a more proper attack position. Suzuki didn't get the DRZ or DR ergos right in the horizontal peg to bar measurement in my opinion. The bars end up in your lap if you stand on the pegs and lean forward enough to be in proper offroad position. Also helps high speed sitting ergos as it encourages a slightly leaned forward posture.

i decided not to lower because i ride over logs at time and did not want anything below the plate. decided to just shorten my peg bracket.

Yo Tree

Do your brackets work with the Southwest Mototech Centerstand?

Unfortunately they don't.
I have the SW centrestand and would love to get my brackets back on.
Only option I know is to shorten a pair of stock and reweld them or buy the Procycle lowered footpegs.

TREE:

Nice product. I saw on another forum that you made a passenger foot peg lowering kit. Are you also selling that? My lady has been complaining about being cramped up in the back.

Thank you! I'll have to make sure it's good for the girl, and then I'll order.

Got 'em!

Just received my lowering plates in time for LAB2V! Thanks Tree - they are great. I have seen some posts on ADV about how people are afraid to have anything below the skid plate. Yes the lowering plates for the pegs drop about 1/2 inch below the skid plate - but so does the linkage for the rear suspension. I don't anticipate this being a problem whatsoever. I will be doing most of the hard splits on this 2 day enduro ride - I will report back. But so far in the garage they feel great!

Got my back peg lowering brackets on today. Perfect fit, and TREE was kind enough to throw in the 2 lower bolts. Got it all bolted up and had my girlfriend feel it. She said that its loads better then stock, and shes excited to get on the DR now. Simple, quality product, and an honest guy to back them up, perfect!

As you can see the back pegs are about 2 inches higher then the stock fronts. Also makes for a good place to rest the feet when changing positions on the highway.

Great brackets!

Loved my new lowered pegs for the 400+ mile ride/race during LAB2V! Some very challenging terrain including a boulder field in Red Rocks and the pegs held up great. Sure there are scrapes and dings (photos soon) but they did not inhibit my riding at all. I don't see any reason not to use these over the expensive alternative. I was a little leery about my feet being too close to the ground or the brackets getting hung up on rocks but neither was a problem (and they are simple to install - 20 minutes and your done!). Great mod, thanks Tree!
