The OD was love at first sight for me and $$$ saved on my original plan of a black plastics kit. The seat is great! Perfect as a San Francisco commuter. Got a headlight cover, jets, under-bar mirrors, and a case/mount for my phone on the way. Also trying to procure a LizrdCooler. Love this thing!

The Lizrdcooler is great, I love mine, get one and your bike will thank you! You would like a Jimbo windshield too.
Be careful with those mods or you'll end up looking like this,

Boo. I'd placed a $270 order with ProCycle a few days ago which included the jet kit. Just got an email today saying everything but the jet kit just shipped - jet kit is back-ordered and won't be available until after 8/29.

Found shims at mcmaster, and 130/132.5 jets at partzilla - ordered and on the way.

With everything that comes in the ProCycle jet kit, is it worth the $50 to just let them ship it when it comes in and have the parts on hand, or should I just cancel the order?

Go ahead and cancel it. If you are doing a project like myself it helps to have all the stuff in a kit but you really don't need it.

Thanks!, The tank was a happy accident, I got it for my '97 TW, then swapped it to the '07 and it was a perfect match.

Yes it does ! I road around last night and it's so much more nimble than the Bonneville and F650GS. Granted, it's a whole lot slower but it's certainly fun to ride !!! I plan on putting many more miles on it this Summer.

Will I installed my new tires today for riding to work and around town. Now I am wondering how the new tires would do on fire roads. Anyone use these off-road, if so how do they do?

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved. Hell, some of the places Iíve been there werenít even roads!

Bet they'll work just fine. Surprised just how well my Tenre does on dirt roads and trails with the stock Metzler Torrances on it with similar but not as aggressive tread pattern. By the way, what tires are those?

That is what I was thinking, based on my GS. They are Bridgestone Trail Wing TW203 & TW204.

If it's dry your ok, Stay out of the mud and wet grass. Atleast thet's what everyone has been saying that I'v read. I would think you will need to be a little more mindfull of what and where you are riding is all.
