What about pillion?

Ericsony, Stege and all of you out there who ride with a co-rider: I noticed that the pillion is much higher than the rider's seat. How does the presence of a passenger affect the stability of the bike at traveling speed and its maneuverability in the city? Is the passenger comfortable or does it feel like sitting on a frying pan? I am thinking of selling my Transalp 650 and buying a Tenere.

Any quick info on what the Dyno Numbers are for this bike? How's the power as compared to a 640Adv?

Sounds great!

I read that the stock bike has 48 crank hp, those leo vince pipes
obviously do something right.

Thank you for your response Gotthem but my concerns are about handling when it's loaded. I know that it's not powerful. I have ride it alone for 30 minutes . I like the riding position. I didn't like the engine, stutters a bit and I think it's not so smooth IMHO.

Nice bikes guys! I'd rather have a 660 R or X though. Like the red and whites best!!!

I know what you mean Stamos. Did you ride a new one? Mine went smoother, after about 2000 km's. But it still stutters, but less. It's a thumper.

The Tenere i rode was a test ride at local dealer. I don't remember the mileage exactly but it was less than 1000km. I had a thumper for 3 years -a honda AX1. It was smooth and the engine ran flawlessly - imminent throttle response and no stuttering.
Thumpers with minareli's engine - I have also test ridden an aprilia pegaso and XT660R- run more or less uneven. XT660R is the worst of all. The engine has been around for several years and I hoped the injection-throttle problems would have been solved completely. Carb thumpers ran better than the new fuel injected, except consumption.

Indeed, and the emission thing (IES?) makes it sound like I'm making popcorn when I let go of the threttle hehe.

Last picture before winter hibernation (no snow, was a few weeks ago):
