How did you install barkbusters without losing your weights?
In their site I see that weights are not installed with these handle guards.

That's not true. You use the standard Bar Endweights out the outside of the barkbusters bracket when you mount them.

Those ARE the Bar Weights between the Bracket and the Grips? Some people have added another weight onto the outside of the Barkbuster Grips, but the above is the correct installation.

But hey, I own a bike, it's awesome.. You don't wanna buy a 660 Tenere because you're unsure of the Barkbusters and End weights, that's your problem bud.

regards

Al

Q:
Hi,
A question about the handle guards for Yamaha XT 660 Z Tenere.
Can the handle guards be installed with the original bar Endweights?
In the pics in this site i see that the original weights are not installed.
thanks

A:
Hello

Thank you for your email and interest in Barkbusters.

The BHG19.2 is a model specific handguard for the Yamaha XT660Z Tenere. The set up and hardware for this handguard requires that the original bar end weights be removed. Therefore the answer to your question is NO the handguards CAN NOT be installed using the original bar end weight.

If you have any further questions please let me know.

Best regards

Well then your Barkbuster Dealer's useless, because they are supplied with their own Bar weights, which fit on the 660Z 100%.
