Worst Part of Finishing a Project
Just last week I finished putting Denali D2 driving lights on my F8GS. It has been a week now and I am over the initial excitement of "Wow, look at those lights." I caught myself today thinking "What do I need to put on next?" I really don't need anything, but I guess I have the farkle bug. It is depressing to think that nothing I put on the bike will ever make me say, "Ahhh, IT IS COMPLETE!"
The dilemma I find myself in is: I have the Vario cases. I LIKE: easy on/easy off, they look good, no unsightly rack when bags are off. I WANT: more space, top load, no ugly rack. The Vario's are fine and functional, but now that I have no ongoing project I am forced to think about my panniers. Maybe I'll go look for a new tent. Any other farkle addicts dealing with this?
