Numb - How are you liking the Rigid's?

Anyone else using these?

Compare to VisionX?

LED's from Autozone, wired into the canbus connector.
So bright, they actually light up the shoulder of the road at night.
Oncoming cage drivers really notice them, they have saved me from being run into by inattentive drivers more than once.

Pic below taken during the day with the garage door closed - ie, they are VERY BRIGHT!

Here's mine.

Home made light mounts using a couple of 1" x 1/8" aluminum stock with a couple of holes drilled in strategic locations.

... and the Clearwater lights LED city running lights.

Between the two sets, the LED lights are much more expensive at $500 for the kit instead of $300 for the HIDs, but at least the LED's won't cause cagers to flash me. Most of the time.

I liked the LEDs so much that I put a set on my 12R also.

Hey Stephen, do you have a pic of the handlebar switch for the Twalcoms? What do you think of them so far?

Those look just like my PIAA's which were acquired from Touratech. The guards used to have a TT logo on them, but I have since removed it.

See post 180.

Same for me, except mine are Hella, not PIAA.

dumb question

I want to install a set of led lights so low amp draw...can i tap into the GPS plug by the airbox for power instead of buying the plug? I am going to run a 10 amp switch, no relay. should i ground to the battery or the same plug?

I'm no electrical wizard but am pretty handy and want to know if this is the best way to go for switched power.

Thanks for the info guys.
