Now Open - Holan Adventure Equipment USA -- Pre-Order Special!

Holan USA Website - HolanUSA.com

Hello Everyone!

If you're looking for some high quality adventure gear at reasonable prices, you owe it to yourself to checkout Holan. As an OEM for some of the biggest names in adventure equipment today (such as one that rhymes with Rouratech ) Holan is probably the biggest name you've never heard of.

What does Holan produce? Crashbars, Headlight Protectors, Bag Mounts, Handlebar Crossbars, and more. Chances are there are quite a few FF's running around with Holan produced (and re-labeled) items already installed on their motorcycles without even knowing it.

Holan has recently expanded into direct to customer sales, and effective in 2009, has a official North American importer - Motorcycle Insight, LLC. - the same guys behind F800Depot.com.

To celebrate the grand opening of the Holan USA e-commerce store, we're offering FREE UPS Ground SHIPPING to US addresses and $20 Shipping to Canada and Mexico on all products on HolanUSA.com. No minimum. No maximum. Just order by January 31st, 2009. Bags included if you purchase them with the mounts too! We'll credit back any fee for shipping will be manually upon order fulfillment. Most of this stuff is pretty heavy too!

Our first large shipment should be in towards the end January or early February. We've notated everything we expect in with the first order, and what we intend on stocking on the website. Questions can be answered quickly and professionally via contacting us at NowOpen@HolanUSA.com.

A few samples of the Holan products we'll be selling:

Holan Adventure PRO Crashbars for the R1200GS

Holan R1200GS Adventure Pannier mounts for the R1200GS (non-adv)

Holan PRO Crashbars for the KTM LC8 Adventure

Holan Crashbars for the DL1000 V-Strom

Holan R1200GS Adventure Pannier mounts for the F800GS.
(there is also a Adventure Topcase mount coming this month too!)

Thanks guys!

Unfortunately, nothing is currently available from Holan for the Caponord. Everything current is BMW, KTM and Suzuki focused.

The do make a bit of stuff for the Honda that isn't marketed here and thus we won't be importing it.

Hi, do your panniers fit on the r1100gs?

if so, which parts would I need for a full kit?

Do you offer a topbox as well?

Mike

Do all panniers come with the 'Holan' script and whatnot on them? Optional to leave it off?

Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt,

They call come with it, but it can be easily removed with a hairdryer as it's only a sticker.

Awesome. Thanks for the quick response. These are coated and don't give things stuffed inside the awful black mess?

These are not coated, but are made from an alloy which I've been told significantly reduces the mess.

Copied over from other thread

The soft panniers on my 08 Wee are ready to surrender. I like what I see. Of course, there are a lot of questions like what is the total width on the Wee? Are there any pics with them loaded on the Wee?

Provided they aren't to wide, my biggest concern is making a very expensive mistake on mounting them. A paper template along with pics from a known installation would be cheap and most welcome. Lastly, I note the 45 liter cases are not offered for the wee on the web site. Is there a reason for this? Thanks,

Anyone have experience with the Holan crashbars on a 990? They look good, but don't have the cross member that most others do.

Haven't been able to dig up an inmates that have run them.

Thanks for getting back. Almost gave up on ya. It's difficult for me to call during work hours, so email and posts are best. Ok so mounting will take extra time while I figure out the best position, but the pics you linked to help a lot. All that's really left is the width. Please advise width for the Wee soonest.

Assuming I get the mounting wrong, it would appear that the worst that could happen is that I would have to rivet the holes in the case and drill a new set. Does that sound about right? Lastly if we damage a case or rack, will we be able to get replacements without having to replace the whole set?

Let's discuss the Holan Aluminum Panniers in the other thread.

Please, no more pannier discussion here.

Please note that the above shipping promotion concluded nearly a year ago now. Current pricing on panniers will conclude on January 31st, 2010.

Question

Will the Model: 051-0560H-IIS for a 2009 R1200GS fit with the BMW black plastic head guards?
