My 2 stages from my helmet cam show it. Usually it is very smooth, even in our DEEP sand a few miles north across the NC line. I was so rutted up I felt as if it were hard packed. The ruts were pretty sandy, so I stayed in the ruts that did not look like a drunk snake pulling an anchor.

We heard that there were some real soft areas out on the course that we couldn't see.....

In fact on the Sandpit stage they told us that a couple of cars were stuck on a deep uphill....thus the delay in the action.

Here's my clips of the Hairpin turn on the Sandtrap stage....#4 I think.

I didn't add any background music ....you can really hear the applause for TT early on in this one...it also includes some cars.
