That's on Bank, right?
I can be there for 9-ish.
Do they serve diet doughnuts?

Yep. Starbucks is on Bank, at the corner of Third Ave.

If we're heading over to QC, then it should be on the way for Juames if he rides down Prince of Whales. Does that work for you, Juames?

Cool. It'll probably be more like 9:15 for me. I'll shoot for 9 but I'm always 15 minutes late.

As it was today too.

410 kilometers was our tally for today. Saw quite a few bikes including a bunch which included a R1200GS at Plevna, and they passed by while we had ice cream in Balderson.

Saw nobody else this morning on 511, and the road was almost perfect except for one shady spot where it looked a little treacherous, still, at 10:00am. Went via a dirt shortcut, the Whelan road north of Calabogie to highway 132, then on to 41. The roads were clean and dry except right outside of Dacre where there was salt on the road in a very shady curve. We spotted an OPP cruiser doing radar work at the Bon Echo provincial park entrance but he didn't bother us.

Another great day!

Went for a ride today and dragged three others with me.
Sorry about the cold and wet weather. Hope no one catches a pneumonia or something like that.
Thanks Juames, Derik and J-C for coming along

I can't seem to upload my pics anymore with photobucket.

I could be convinced to ride again tomorrow. Any takers? I'm thinking California Rd, Darling, New Road? Nothing too "in the woods" because deer season has started.

You missed a good ride today.
You could have witnessed my fall from grace
Dirt roads were slick and I put my foot down just when the rear let go.
I was sure I had broken my ankle but it's just sprained.
My ride home was a bit mellow.
Gotta find me some boots with good ankle support for next season.

Riding season is over for me this year.
Tire is all but bald and ankle hurts like hell.
Work is gonna be fun tomorrow.

Well, I may be going by myself if no one else is onboard.

Where'd you ride today?

Also went for a mini ride yesterday (50km). It was nice and warm and got a little of exploring done.

But dang! I hate when you pick a new route on a topo map and the road I chose falls on a gated private road.... that gets on my nerves!

Won't stop me from exploring thought!
