Home...finally. Give me a couple of weeks to sort out the media then I'll host a slide show (with the photos that don't make the book ) and we'll do a whiskey chat about the race. No denying it, that was hands down three of the coolest weeks of my life.Back to work and time to start putting all those chicken scratches into words. 3 showers where I have scrubbed myself with more soap than is humanly possible and each time I get out the towel is filthy. I was warned it takes at least a week to finally get clean.

Good to know about the brake lines, I'll to have a second one to be able to put a high fender on my 950.
Also (maybe I already aske, but don't remember) I'm looking for a shop able to cut/weld my exhaust pipe (2 into1). The goal is doing this : ![]() cutting one exit and connect it exit to the other... 2 cut and weld job Could be QC or ON side

Denis - these intercoms don't fit on a bike - they are completely mounted on a helmet. Or perhaps you were being facetious with your comment when you said "Unfortunately, two way intercom systems don't fit on my bikes.
"You wouldn't believe how useful an intercom is until you've tried one.

I had been asked to buy one before but always came up with that excuse. If I wanted to talk, I'd take the car.

Sorry Sean, it's sold to someone in Kingston. Wish I had a few more to sell!

That's what we used to say as well. But now we find them extremely useful.
Now Mike can say "I'm stopping to take some photos' and then I can say "Fine, I'll go stop in that churchyard" and then we can carry on chatting even though we're hundreds of metres apart. Before it would be me noticing him not there, sitting on the side of the road wondering where he was, then turning around and going back just as he'd be catching up with me. And now Mike can lead and I can still do the navigating, telling him where to turn. Sometimes I'd rather he be in front so he can be the one avoiding the deer and finding all the sand and giant potholes.... The amount of aggravation and hassle these radios have saved is well worth the $$ they cost. Occasionally we have to ask the other one to just shut up for a while, but on the whole they are great. I mean, you don't HAVE to talk. You can still ride for long periods of time without saying a word.

Or I would try to catch up to signal that I wanted to stop but by the time I got caught up, it was too late to go back and take a good picture... the intercoms seem like they'd be an annoying interruption but on balance, they are extremely useful.
