We would have been out too, with those conditions.

Hard part is the driveway. They're all sheet ice, but once you clear that, it's just some sand and ice patches. Easy.

Bell tech dude has come and gone, just waiting for Forseti to get some sleep (he was working mids), and we're gone.

This guy's pretty good, lives just down the road. Looks like it's fixed, time will tell.

oh sweet freedom
Looking out the window yesterday, I decided to take the day off early. Worked like a fiend to put the KLR back together, and of course it wouldn't start. It had been dark for quite a while before I finally got on the road, but _damn_ does it ever feel good to be on the road again.
Anyways, I was so excited I forgot to properly tighten my exhaust... By the time I made it back round to grab it there was a car parked just up the road and a fellow claiming he thought it fell off his car when he ran over it. Not looking too pretty anymore. Any KLR riders in the area have an exhaust in the garage they'd like to get rid of? |

Hi,
I have an "exhaust issue" In the middle, the oem H pipe, the 2into 1 on the left and the LeoVince Hpipe on the right. I'd like to have the 2in1 adapted to fit the Leo Vince exhaust. At first I though to have an part machined but the Oem and the LV are not in the same position... a straight pipe is not possible. Do you know a place where I could have the left part modded to fit the right part shape (without any damage to the leo vince H pipe). I want the cost being under 100$, other wise I would better buy an Akrapovic (one side only) and sold the whole Leo vince kit Thanks

This has to be reason enough to buy an iPhone...
http://gps.motionx.com/iphone/overview/ ![]() Stephanie and I needed to upgrade our phones and our son talked us into getting iPhones. They're pretty cool on their own but Motion-X has to be the killer app! Yes, I do have a gps which I'm going to be using on the bike for navigation but what you can do with Motion-X is nothing short of awesome. This App has all the usual things you expect in a gps, like a compass screen, track recording, route navigation, etc but it does a lot more than that. One of the best features of this app is the ability to download maps in whatever detail level you want from Bing, Open Street Maps and Open Terrain maps through WiFi, stored on your iDevice, so the maps don't need to be streamed through 3G, using up your data plan. The second best thing is the ability to Share your location in a number of different ways, like through Facebook/Twitter/Email/Maps or privately to other Motion-X users on a hidden channel Map. This is amazing, to be able to see where others are on your map screen, even if they're 200 miles away, as long as they're in 3G network range. The "Live Position Updates" can also be monitored through http://gps.motionx.com/iphone/liveupdates/ When you send a "Share Location" message, it can include notes and/or a picture as well. This is almost as useful as a Spot Connect, and it probably is more reliable than the Connect, if the reports I've read are anything to go by. The Connect will work in the absence of 3G signal, but for those times when you're not too far from civilization, this works really well. And how can you lose for $1.99? Don't get the "Motion-X GPS Drive" version - it's not the same as this one called "Motion-X GPS".
