And here's the gist:
  1. Sat Feb 25th at The Goose and Gridiron pub in Merrickville

Drove into the city, roads are mostly clear

I'll be at the pub around 7, slide show around 8-8:30.

I have a handful of photographs i'll babble about and a 30 minute video, should be good (the photos and video, not my public speaking skills...esceptially after an hour or two of pints).

Cya tonight

ps....if Shipwreck tries to convince you it's his birthday it's not. He uses this line to try and get free beer everywhere we go

If anyone wants to see the supper options, the pub's menu is on their web site: http://thegooseandgridiron.com/

No Haggis on the menu, I see.

That was great! Thanks for the slide show Ted, it was a great way to spend an evening! I enjoyed seeing a side of the Dakar that the tv coverage doesn't cover!

Glad to read you had a good night !
I have a back pain for 2 days, the storm did not help (I mean the showel and the snow blower did not help)
Sorry, but I did not wanted to drive 2hours + 2 hours tonight.
I really felt sorry... I'm sure it was a great night

Thanks again Ted!

Awesome presentation Ted and thanks again for sharing.
It was great to get out and put a name to some of the faces on the Ottawa thread here and hopefully next time I see some of you it will give you the opportunity to see me fall down off my actual bike into the dirt instead of into a fireplace while carrying a chair.

A "falling off a log" demo, that looked like.
