Blacks Corners Tires

We all hear about the bad experiences with shops, so I wanted to share a good one.

Don at Blacks Corners Tires treated me and my bike very well yesterday. New chain, sprockets, cush rubbers and chain roller. The bike rides great and it didn't break the bank. Don was professional and thorough.

I ended up going to spectate, but didn't notice any other DR650s, either competing or spectating...

Just remembered - on my way home from Woody's today I got onto the 7 for a while around Carleton Place, going East, and spotted a black 990 Adventure stopped on the other side of the road, having a really bad day due to the two OPP cars surrounding him.

I stood on my pegs to look over the divider then realized that was probably the wrong thing to be doing at that particular point in time...

The OPP have been patrolling 7 near Carleton Place pretty heavy.

Yup... he looked pretty pissed. looks like the bike was getting impounded.

I wonder if it will be up for sale. It would be hard to insure $$$$$ after the cops take it away.. they may just crush it to.

I guess that is what you get speeding into town not checking the signs!
