Thought I'd cross post here:
I got the bike back from Montreal on the weekend and just pulled the starter off to check the clutch. There is no friction material on the clutch disc, it's all in a rats nest at the bottom of the housing. I can actually see the disc and the rivets and there's nothing on either side, just the rivets sticking out Never seen one that bad. Splines look great and it's dry in there so the rear main seal isn't leaking. This should be an easy one

Hey Brian, did we see you out on your lawn tractor this afternoon? Stephanie and I had a couple of hours to kill so we went out on our DRs.

Not really sure where you live but I thought south of Kemptville and that's where we were riding.
It was about here I thought I saw you. Or someone who looked like you, and waved as we went by.

I am very close to Limerick forest. People south of Kemptville tend to wave at everyone going by. Gets a little annoying at times.

The forecast for tomorrow looks quite nice.
Quantis and I planning to ride, but we don't know where yet. If anyone would like to join us, the more the merrier.

Is that the area immediately beside the dam at the start of the 511, gravel parking area with a boat launch and out houses?
