Read my write up, they can be made to work well. Mostly I used them on a 640 adv, and they worked fine. And if there's a bike that vibrates...

The problem I saw with them wasn't in relation to the ball at the end of the stalk, rather, it was with the cheap, plasticky clamp setup on the back of the mirror itself, where the mirror clamps onto the stalk.

I found mine worked much better with the shortest possible ram arm, less vibration. But its still not as nice as the stock mirror on the DR. I'd love to find another left hand DR mirror.

I'll sell you mine, or, better yet, trade for the DT off your bike.

If I still had every dollar I spent on motorbikes I would be a richer man but a poorer person.

Thanks anyway Dave - I really do have a set off my DR that Stephanie can have. I offered her one of my spare DT mirrors to see if she'd like it after she broke hers in a water crossing but I didn't realize she disliked the DT that much.

Yes, the cheap models on eBay are a very good knock-off of the overpriced models made by CRG...
http://www.motostrano.com/CRG-Mirror...p/06400121.htm

I bought a pair of the CRG mirrors about 5 years ago, paying full price for them. I used them on my SV650 and I quite liked them. A year or so later, I found these knock-off for much less money. Quality is about 95% of the expensive ones, price is thousand times less.

What kind of future does your relationship have if you can't even talk about mirrors?

Dunno - when you've been married this long, the only one who listens to you is the person in the mirror.

I don't dislike the DT mirror. I just like the DR one better. It holds a helmet really well. And doesn't flap around at all.

I didn't realize we had the ones off your bike!

We've managed fairly well since we met over a BSA parts counter in 1974

But the competition is fierce when an interesting bike comes along, who gets it first!

Hey Murph, found anything interesting on our local Kijiji this year? We need an adventure.
