Haha... I know. I see them all over Berlin, and they don't look like they're ridden offroad. I know they're a very capable and practical machine. I was seriously thinking about one, and then I spotted a 990 SuperDuke. One ride and I was addicted. I'm making the arrangements to buy it right now.

Derek on a SuperDuke? Think of the wheelies he'll be pulling! Watch out Berlin!

Indeed. Saturday afternoon rides could easily end with jail time.

Here's the SD I'm looking at buying. Twisting the throttle on this thing is addictive --- like crack cocaine. Unfortunately, they have too many damn speed cameras here.

Owww - not motorbike related

Just finished my fist Army IRONMAN, 32km ruck run with 40lbs, 4km with ruck and a canoe, 8km paddle and finish with a 6km ruck run. Canoe portage was absolute misery! Managed a 22nd place finish out of approx 200 people and not sure where I landed based on being in the over 40 category.
Today was for people just running their own run and for all the people coming from out of area that are not part of the Brigade. Definitely some fast people. Tomorrow is the complete-ors day for the teams and should see some really fast people. www.sportstats.ca if your interested in the event. This year were raising funds for a MRI for Pembroke, http://prhfoundation.akaraisin.com/C...eid=7525&mid=8 a worthy cause for all in the valley.
Bedtime now, not looking forward to tomorrow's pain and cramps.

That's impressive. If you did that yesterday, it's even more so. It was very hot and muggy out.

Congratulations, for sure!
