I've been riding to and from work since Thursday (30 kms each way). Bit chilly at 0330 in the morning though. Usually between -4c and +2c and very foggy the last 3 days. Nice coming home though. Temps up to +7 and sunny.

Thank DOG I have heated vest and grips. Can't believe I rode for all those years back east without them.

The Missus is hopping on her 950 and meeting me at work for the ride home this afternoon.

Here ya go. It hit about +9 here today. I only got one pic but you get the idea. I rode from the southside of Edmonton out to Nisku, down 19 to Devon, back into Edmonton thru Enoch and back over to the southside via Jasper and Whyte Ave. No bikes at the timmies on Whyte, I wonder why. All told about 60k's. Never even took the heated vest off of the low setting.

Good thing I'm heading back to the KLR in Tucson in the end of Feb.

I put 300km on my bike today but didn't bother to waste time by stopping to take pics. Gotta love it when it hits 17 degrees in the middle of January.

Good to hear.

Weather bitch here said we got 26cms, but I measured 31 on my truck yesterday morning, and another 10 this morning. Lying bastards.

Keep riding while you can, boys.

Um, I hate to disappoint you, but around my place in North Van we only saw +3c yesterday, of course it's an inversion, so my local ski hill was around +15c!! My bike has looked like this until late last week:

There is still so much ice in my parking lot, that I have not yet dared to take my bike out.

Forecast here drops on the weekend again down to holy fuck cold. Numbers wise they're balmy by Prairie standards, but humid compared to AB or SK.

I don't mind pure heat or cold so much as the the damn humidity down east goes right through me.

I could not pass up the opportunity to get out on Sunday in Calgary +16C. Rode out to Ghost lake.
It was beautiful

Could someone provide directions on how to post pics? I have a few from the ride

This past weekend was gorgeous! I really wanted to go for a rip but the sidestreets are full of snow. Best I did was start it and flow some gas through the carbs. Still felt good.
