How long are you guys thinking of being out?

3 hours maybe. Just enough to shake off the dust from Friday's ride.

If you end up getting the tracks for this and would like to meet for a ride let me know. I can do a week day with a couple days notice.

The 525 looks good. Cathy gets in late tonight. I sent john a text. Can we do a later start?

Redington?
I've been getting out there on my own and am interested in learning more about that area.
I get off work at 7(A.M.) and will check back.

I am out today. The weather (read wind) is too much and I am not feeling on top of my game.

The weather.....16G24 is the wind forecast today and I doubt you feel it much on the trail. You're always on top of your game. I always say about Hoosier Daddy----"Daddy gots game, Daddy gots game"

Just returned from the Glass Staircase in Calif. on the RT. Headwind all the way on I-8. Normally get near 50mpgs but only in the 30s with that headwind!!

Gate at west end of McGee Road?

Can anybody tell me if this gate is truly off-limits? It's at the west end of McGee Road, west of Sahuarita. There are the usual signs of "No unauthorized vehicles" and such but at the same time it looked very well used. I was attempting to get to Keystone Peak after a random google map ride search, but maybe it's not even big bikeable. Anyway, I'm sure there's someone here much more familiar with this particular area and can give me more info? Thanks in advance.

That's enough info for me to avoid it - thanks.

Hey guys, got an 87 xr250r with dual carbs. Needs some cosmetics and some creative wrenching, but should be a fun bike. Anyone have experience with these?

Dual Carb? I had a 1995 XR250R and it had a dinky CV carb. I just looked at the schematic for an 86-91 and it shows a single boot from the air box. Look up "Gordon's Mods" to set your bike up. The 250 is no speed demon, but first gear is like a tractor and the fact it is a 6 speed was nice.
