[QUOTE=*Gmoney*]Think I might take the oldest one in the fleet out tomorrow
do some State Trust Land North of Mt Fagan where the springs are see the wildlife at the lakes.
Battery is dead on it, see if this will charge it.
So if you see a guy pushing a 37 year motorcycle you will know its me.
Note to self take spare spark plug and hope 37 year old carb is up for it.
They don't built them like that anymore, still my favorite ride I just try not to scratch it.

had one, same color. miss that bike.

Follow this link: http://www.advmaps.com/

and then zoom in on Tucson.....

Got LOTS to choose from! Of course, there's even more that hasn't been loaded as a GPS file here on ADV but at least that will get you started.

Welcome to the old pueblo....

Just got to tucson and I'm looking to ride. I've got classes on the weekends right now but all through the week I am free. I've got a large truck so dirt only is fine, although I'm on a supermoto which may make things "interesting" offroad. But I'm game anyway, street rides are cool as well, even just a quickie up mt lemmon. I'm a jack of all trades at bikes, I've done a lot of different types and I sorta suck at all of it!

I'm going to check out the Garter burger place tonight. Hopefully I'll run into some of you out there!

this may be necro...

but for my $$, Bobs in PHX is worth the look, esp if you have LOTS of patience, a willingness to BS and reasonable expectations.

It is a heaven for 90s bikes for sure. Hoping to scour up there soonish for some DT and AR parts myself so i may have to dig a bit.

And no joy on tonight. Have fun alls y'alls.

How am I going to do bike comparisons when you're not there (at the Garter)? Sheesh!

Plus I was going to ask Marisa if she wanted me to punt you off in the dirt sometime for taking her and Becky through the desert of death ride.

Newbies just haven't lived until they do the Death in the Desert ride with me.

Besides, it's all part of the master plan. Eventually, people will stop letting me plan these things. Once that happens, I just have to show up and ride. Much less work that way.

I'll tell you a little secret though. They both aspire to be able to keep up with you. So they are starting out with the easy stuff (keeping up with me), and will work up to the bigger challenges (you). It won't take 'em long to out-ride me, then they will be chasing *you* down.

At the Garter tonight a couple of folks were asking about Ride-On tire sealant.

About a year ago I worked out a group buy to get 10% off on orders. The discount is good for any order of any product. So, here's how it works:

Click on THIS LINK and then when you order and it asks for a promotional code type in ridingworkshop.

Anyway, I've used this stuff for years in both tube and tube-less tires and really like it. It works as advertised and is actually designed for high speed applications (unlike SLIME). It's also not slick and nasty like slime so changing tires is not a nasty mess either. You basically put Ride-On in your tires (or tubes) when you put on new tires (you can also put it in current tires even if they aren't new). Then, just ride. No worries about flats because it seals punctures as you ride.

Brian:

I'll tell you a little secret, Becky thought my Bike was your bike tonight. I think she wanted to spit on it and I don't blame her, but without you there to stand up my poor bike was left out there like a lone soldier, holding the front line, for you. Dang dude, that's harsh. Can you paint yours Pink please?

Besides, anyone can keep up with me, I ride like a girl, although when I do wear my "Hello Kitty" gear I am somewhat formidable if I do say so myself....and I do say so myself because no one else will. Whatever it takes to feed the wee little ego.

Funny she should harbor ill feelings towards a yellow GS though....I didn't even take my bike last weekend.

But I do suspect Becky and Marisa are plotting some sort of revenge....time to start sleeping with one eye open I guess...

Well then, Becky is in luck. She has the opportunity to prove her theory next weekend when we retrace our route...this time the jeep stays home and the GS gets dirty.

Becky -- time to put up or shut up. Last one to arrive at Gadsden pays.
(of course, I wouldn't actually abandon anyone out there...I may be mean, but damn, I'm not that mean)

Who's in?
