OK, I did the homework in the 4WD book and got up in the middle of the night to be able to take the slow bike. I'll be at the Tanque Verde Circle K a bit before 8, leaving at 8 to try the trail.

Wish I hadn't had to work this weekend but at least I be able to work in an afternoon ride today!

Allyn and I tried the front way into the falls this morning and the climb was still nasty. We had no problem the back way in, on the trail that's to the east.

BTW, Allyn's new Delta Chi name is "HoosierTreemaster."

Neither one of you was riding that blue bike today.

Did rock climbing lead to tree climbing?

Rich and I are out safely. However, it looks like handguards are needed for the little CRF230L. I would welcome suggestions as to what might fit.

Acerbis Rallypro is what I use John, but it is like oil and tires everyone has a favorite, I bought mine because they were closest to the door, and they were white.

Hopefully that was all that got broken.

Yup, I didn't carry enough speed and wound up tipping over at the end of the forward momentum. I'm finally getting a bit of throttle movement when I release it, but it doesn't back off like it should, yet.

In my opinion Cycra's are the best, but the are also the most expensive. They seem to have more clearance for the levers than the other. Most of the others, Acerbis, Moose Racing, Tusk, seem to all be about the same measurements. I would bet most of these are made in the same factory as well.
