it depends on your GPS, somewhere under the set up menu you should be able to select which maps show up, you need Bob's file and another map selected, and Bob's file should just automatically overlay.

You won't get the overlay if you're looking at the map on your computer though.

Texan needs route info

We're planning a trip from Las Cruces thru Tuscon and up to Scottsdale.
The initial plan is to stay south of I-10 and route thru Columbus and Douglas, but if there are known routes north of I-10, we might try that.
We have to pass thru Tucson to add another member to the ride...
Any info on dirt roads/trails would help with our choice of routes..
We're all on XR's & KTM's so we're not limited to the GS/V-Strom/ KLR kind of trails & roads...
the less pavement, the better...

Thanks in advance

The Lost Trail Riders...

Well, it could be. I just got up and want some breakfast.
How long would this ride take?

I probably need to stay home and start my work before noon...

Not a problem, I have a bike that needs its chain removed, cleaned, and a decision made on installing a new chain and maybe sprockets.

I'll go get greasy.

When?

How long do you have to make it from where to where?

Got some good ideas for you. Most are highspeed dirt, just because roads that typically 'go' someplace are maintained.

PM me with details, I'll try to help.

Cleaning the chain was sufficient! The NX is streetworthy again with new rear rubber.

We're leaving Odessa around April 28 or 29...I figure one day from Las Cruces to Douglas/Tombstone...another day to Tuscon and Scottsdale...then 2 or 3days riding out & back routes from Scottsdale...

here's a link to the specs

another link

and here's the actual thing. you have to take it apart/ haul it, you can use my truck, and i'd like a handle of crown reserve in exchange.

700 miles away this...

....March snowstorm forced me to 2smoke This today. Due to the same force, I'll be riding in SE Arizona tomarrow. Can the Lil XR go outside to play? From St. David, all ranch roads to Jackson Cabin and back, maybe five miles of assphault. A longer not so rough ride to a very scenic region during the best time of the year to do it. Others can meet along the way via I 10 or Reddington road, as the fun(rough) stuff will be right out of St. David

Ah, I wish, more time to obligate to the wife, I will be up in Phoenix tomorrow.

Sunday is open to me if you are going to still be around.

I spent a fruitless day trying to get our printer working, never got around to working on my GL1000
