No, that was it. A run out 6110 and back. I was solo and didn't want to risk a difficult recovery if I screwed up.

I'm going to set up something to carry my camera gear on my WR250 and truck it up there and do some serious exploring and photo work. Probably some minimal camping so I can shoot sunsets and rises at each stop. Going to wait until it warms up a bit too.

If I'am still in the SW region at the end of April/May, maybe we can meet up for a ride or two around GCNP, I've got a list of stuff I want to do up there. A hike to the Nankoweap area to rest a mentor's ashes is mandatory (since I meet the man I've walked close to 2,300 miles under the rim) some place around Marion point or Kibby Butte. I'am doing some minamal camping off the bike tomarrow, if the gear arrangement works out on the Rug rd. loop, I think it wil work for most circumstances around the Canyon or AZ strip country.

Cathy and I are thinking about a ride on Sunday morning. We need to be back home by around 1, but can get up and out early if anyone has a ride or wants to come along. Thinking maybe Reddington?????

April 3rd -- south?

Anyone playing south of Tucson today?

I'm looking for an easy ride (maybe the Rosemont area?) as I will be learning how to ride with new boots and will probably adjust the shift lever a time or two.

I just installed my PD Nerf so I may save the plastic.

Easter Sunday morning ride

A casual ride, BB and Pringlecan want to go and Skip and I want to ride so we'll meet up at Tangue Verde Circle K to be gassed up at 9am.

Who's in? This will be fairly mellow with some good hill climbs thrown in so we can get a few entertaining pix etc. :)

These are the SW Motechs on mine (from Twisted Throttle.) Any of these bars are only as good as the weakest weld, and where I would tend to fall, on boulders, nothing would save the KLR's hard compound plastic.

Well it's done. And I won't be riding for 5-6 weeks. They were supposed to install titanium parts and good stitches. But, due to Obamacare, they were forced to used burnt adobe and bailing wire. After surgery I sprung a leak. They said the bleeding would stop once the wire rusted enough to seal the wound.
