does anyone know much about CR500's? a CR500 with a lighting coil just sounds like the ultimate in street legal fun...

In my opinion, it would be ultimate track fun. Street? not so much. That snappy 2 smoke torque would get irritating when you're just trying to cruise (do they even cruise?!). Plus you figure in the maintenance schedule of a race 2 smoke, and mixing oil in the gas every time you gas up, it just doesn't seem worth it to me.

For most of the streets around tucson (especially in corona!) it would be a waste of time.

Of course, to each their own.

I'm pretty sure that there was at least a mile of runway involved in each of those pictures.

maintenance on a 500 smoker is not as often as the smaller bores from what i've read. i've only ridden other people's 2 strokes, i've never owned one.

i'd want it street legal so i could ride where ever i want, not so i can sit in traffic on it.
