Need an air impact

I am going to have to do a rear wheel brake job on my ancient and decrepit motor home. Does anyone have a good, fairly high torque 1/2 drive air impact I could borrow?

An air conditioned shop I could do the work in?

I've got a titanium IR you can borrow . . . but no air conditioned shop.

That would be good. I'll shoot you a PM. I was kinda kidding about the A/C anyway. I have a fan and a mister, who could ask for anything more.

Everybody's gone from around me, I figure I'll get up at 0400 and work in the cool of the early morning.

Thanks.

lube your clutch cable and check the ends. my clutch cable was improperly installed (my fault) on the lower end of the cable and it didn't last 1000 miles that way. if you already have a new cable though, i'd lube the new one and slap it in. your old one could go 100k+ miles, but who wants a new clutch cable sitting around for that long?
I ordered all of the requisite parts and gaskets from Arrowhead and they shipped yesterday, so I should have them tomorrow, either tomorrow night or sometime on thursday I'll be able to break into it... I have all the tools, and some beer so we should be set.

probably doing valves and other stuff tomorrow morning

I've got to do some bike crap in the morning. Give me a yell if you need a hand. I'll be either leaving tomorrow for penasco or the next day but if I have time I'd be happy to help.

danke! I'll give you a call if I need anything

Just installed an HID headlight kit, and checked the valves. They are all well within spec, right in the middle of the range, so I don't have to go buy shims.

Even with almost 35000 miles the inside of this engine looks clean as hell. The cams look brand new.

All thats left is coolant change, water pump seals and front tire change

DDM Tuning has one for like 45 dollars shipped. They mostly make crap for BMWs but sell H4 HiLo kits too.

I still have to find a final place to stick the ballast and adjust the throw, but it seems pretty decent. The bulb is on a servo that flips back and forth for the hi low beam

lol, he forgot to include the clutch cover gasket in with the stuff I ordered, so I guess I'll just take care of that when I get back from colorado

Coolant level still looks find, so I think its only weeping 3-4 drops per day
