Almost showed tonight at RG but didn't get the KLR back together until 8:30. We showed up 2 weeks ago and the place was packed ...but not with anybody who rode a bike..... sorry we missed tonight, and I had a semi blonde wig to try to get a freebie drink with....

Anyone in Tucson have a tire machine that we could use as we ride through to Mexico.

We will be arriving September 25 into North Tucson, and will need to one tire on a KTM 990 and maybe 2 on F800 GS.

Sunday (25th ) Late or Monday(26th?) . Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Mark

If you don't find a local you can try Z's Motorcycle Werks, it's a locally owned and operated shop, they did some fantastic work for me.

Right pretty out there today

It is the end of the monsoon season and the "desert" is unbelievably green.

Obviously I had to take a ride this morning.

The photos starting at the creek show what was probably a "trust building" exercise between the Sheriff's Dept. and Homeland Security. You will see their campsite (there was one saddled horse in camp) and a DHS mule (4-wheeler, 4-seater, with a small bed behind the seats) After those shots I passed them and waited to get addition pictures a mile or so ahead. Either they got high centered or turned back. The last couple of pics are coming back and satisfying the piglet's thirst.

Rare sighting on the ride today

A very rare sight indeed. Emerson.Biguns showed with Vicky's steed to do the "Lower Chiva" loop. Whooo Hooo...what? Your bike doesn't start Emerson? It won't run? You're leaving? Is it ok if we call you "Little Thomas" from now on?

Richard aka YBRacing and Emerson discuss the complexities of a Swedish bike that is now Italian...very temperamental..just like Italian girls. Becky says "blonds have more fun" Emerson.

While my new bike isn't Italian...it shares a similarity with me...Testerossa (that's Italian too)

We decided to do the loop backwards (second attempt).

Wish I had either of my riding partner's form.

Richard navigates the rocks after making it through a 3 foot creek crossing (ya we were worried).

Another rare shot, Phil had a little bobble/get-off, the interesting thing to me was watching him groom the area after the event to clear it of small pebbles and the like.

Me acting like I know what I am doing.

Richard looking like an angry hornet.

Phil, doing his best photography...something sitting still.

Damn Phil...ya got YB why couldn't you get me?

Oh...you did.

Look...up in the sky...it's a bird, no it's a plane....no it's

Two old fart goof balls.

Man, did I enjoy today. Conditions were perfect, like the new bike and had two really good guys to ride with.

I think he is going over to the dark side (red not orange), and he likes it! He scoots along pretty well on that little bike.

Hey guys,
I had a great time today. You could not ask for more perfect conditions and weather.
Thanks again for the invite.
