Hey guys,
I had a great time today. You could not ask for more perfect conditions and weather.
Thanks again for the invite.
Yes, that was a fun ride, Allan/HTM was on the gas on the factory Honda, Richard/YBR can just ride anything and make it look easy, and I found out a 3rd gear sand nap is not so bad. Thanks Guys fun day. If you have not done this ride it's awesome, a must for any offroader. Ride On! Phil.
Next weekend The Peaks Loop.

We use big screwdrivers and scratch the daylights out of our rims, but I think someone here has a machine.
Bueller, Bueller!

I don't really use screwdrivers (anymore) lots of big tire irons and soap if you want to try free handing a change in our garage.

I'll be around though if you have time for a drink, give a shout.

PS
I tried out your ticket avoidance philosophy on my ride home from Wetfest and was totally successful, thanks

I think I got it sorted. I'll give it a good test before the next attempt.

Mark,

I don't know of any of our regulars in town with a tire machine. If you end up needing a shop, Sunday/Monday is probably going to be tough. If you'd like tools and shop space I've got plenty. I just swapped tires on the 950 I sold without any difficulty. I'm off on Sunday and work Monday afternoon. I can take off Monday if you need help. Let me know, we could probably scare up some food and a few beers.

John

Cathy, glad you made it home safe and without penalties! Will see how our time goes!

Thanks John for the offer. We will let you know.

I decided to switch tires before I head south, so I will be in good shape. Sam will still need to change one but we can figure it out. I will have all the tools with me anyway, just wanted the easy way if possible.

Thanks for the shop information as well.

If you don't find a local you can try Z's Motorcycle Werks, it's a locally owned and operated shop, they did some fantastic work for me.

Stop stealing Vicky's bike dude. She's obviously figured out how to keep you from thrashing (riding) it when she is out of town. She rigs it up special so it is "Emerson" proof

I'm going with "didn't turn the fuel on."

I think the 610's are less high-strung, I don't hear bad things about them. On the same note, I stll don't know what was wrong with my bike on its maiden voyage. It might have been saving me from a rough day of wrecks since I didn't know how to ride it yet.

I am going to do a shakedown ride when I get home (about a month) and then hit you guys up for some rides before I move on to the UK.

And yes, they are Bavarian now. Who knows what is next?!?
