I was at the Guzzi monthly breakfast in Patagonia (but on my KLR) and took Ruby Rd over to Arivaca to check out Andy's place. First time on Ruby Rd, it's really nice! Just have to watch out for Border Patrol and the odd nut going too fast in their car over a blind crest.

Anyway, as I half expected I was too late (2pm) and everyone was off riding :-( But now I know where it is, and will get back there as it looks like a great riding area. I timed it just right, it was starting to rain as I got back into Tucson around 3:30pm.

Great ride today! I'm glad I finally made it out again, I wasn't as rusty as I'd feared!

Here are some shots:

It has been quiet lately, and I am as guilty as the rest. Been working out of town a lot lately. Rode the KLR650 yesterday afternoon on a short errand and it felt "odd". That tells me I need some riding time on it.

Sold the two TW's to a friend in Oklahoma and picked up an 89 Yamaha Venture XVZ1300 for some asphalt stuff.

I wish I could make it to the Garter, and will try, but I'm usually out of town on Thursdays. I leave Thursday afternoon for New Mexico again.

Thought I would pass this on......It's no wonder the person turning left didn't see the motorcycle until it was too late... they were "fixated" on something. Here's a little example of how fixating can cause this to happen....

Hey Skip, bite me!!! Yes I do believe I am in the right job. Just put a guy in jail yesterday that walked out of Walmart with a 46" tv.
Damn I do actually miss riding down there. Been a little too cold here.

Stranger on the yellow suzuki

To all on the ride out to Chiva Falls last weekend, thanks for letting me hang with your group. That was some of the most fun I've ever had riding. I've never gone riding with a bunch of people before.

Thanks Emerson.Biguns for inviting a stanger on trail, with a bike that is way to small for him, to ride with you guys.

Becktastic, thanks for putting up an image of me.

I hope to soon go riding again with you guys. Keep me in mind, and yes I hope to get a better fitting bike when funds permit.

Are you kidding?

In the hands of a pro, those 3D Copters are bad ass!

Check this out, and notice the other aircraft in the background:

Very interesting, I've just never seen anything like it. I think what threw me off was the camera not focusing well on anything, it's a lot easier to fake something when it's blurry, but I guess if it really moves that fast it's hard to find a camera that can focus on it
