Hey Anyone want to ride this Saturday, like Marsh Station, or Reddington?

Need help

Hi everybody.
I have a problem with rear brake. Looks like the air inside and it doesn’t work when hot. I didn’t put a lot of attention on it, but now the rear brake became stuck.
I have no tools with me. I am in Tucson this moment. Is anybody can recommend me workshop where I can ride right now or at Sunday?
It is necessary to take away rear wheel to get access to the rear brake (Indian Chief). I cannot do it alone even with tools.
Please PM or SMS +79024093940

Saturday - 'big bike' ride

Typical summer half day ride.

Tucson to Arivaca via the desert roads south of SR86, stop for coffee/food at Gadsden, back to 3-points via the pavement, up Kitt Peak (twisty pavement), then back to Tucson by mid-afternoon.

for anyone who isn't familiar with the route (which we've done numerous times in the past), it consists of about 2 hours of mild to moderate dirt (some minor sand, a few rocks, a couple of wash crossings - nothing a 1200GS can't handle with a competent rider), followed by a couple hours of scenic & sometimes twisty pavement.

I wouldn't label this as a 'beginners' ride - but anyone that has spent much time off road on a big bike will probably find it pretty easy.

Meeting at the Shell station @ Ajo Hwy & Tucson Estates Parkway (1 mile west of Kinney Rd). Stands up at 8:30am.

Hey all... if any of you are interested, the local Tucson Vintage Motorcycle Club is having a show and swap meet at the downtown Barrio Brewery this coming Sunday the 15th from 10am - 3pm. I'll be there on my r65. There will be a ton of old bikes and should be fun. C'mon down and say hi.

Sounds good.

Just a heads up - I invited the GS guys. Not sure if any will show up or not - but if they do, we'll probably stick to the easier route (Ryan Ranch rd & San Juan Ranch rd), rather than the more challenging DID route. Not many people would be too interested in taking a 1200GS through that . . .

Aww bummer, I have to have a little challenge. Skip did it on a GS and he said it wasn't that tough at all.

If I knew the riders - I wouldn't have a problem, but since I don't know who will show (if anyone), I don't want to lead them off to their deaths (I only do that to people on KLRs ).

If none of the GS guys show, or if they are up for it, I'm OK with the more interesting route.

I may give it a go, but need to be back in Tucson around noon, I'd peel off and head back on I-19 from Arivaca

We can always split into two groups when we get to the turn off & meet up again at Arivaca if we want to. I've got no problem leading the group out the easy way if you guys (and anyone else) want to go the fun way out. Of course - if none of the GS guys show up - then we can all head out the fun way.

HoosierTrailmaster; if you know the fun way, I'll leave the HP2 at home and ride the little KTM

HTM knows the way (even if you get lost - just keep heading south until you hit pavement, turn right, stop at Gadsden Coffee.

The HP2 would be fine on the 'fun' route. The 'fun' route is actually a little on the easy side for the little bikes with lots of suspension.
